CENTRAL COAST GRAMMAR SCHOOL

PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

ERINA, NSW

PROJECT DETAILS

The Central Coast Grammar School is a leading, independent, K-12 co-educational school located on the Central Coast of NSW. CBM has designed a new Performing Arts Centre on the school grounds, which will allow for a broader range of performing arts programs to students and the wider community.

The PAC is set to be a precedent theatre production and educational facility for the school, designed to house state of the art facilities for teaching and learning while accommodating for travelling and local performances. The 3500m² design boasts a 750 seat theatre, flexible foyer, drama department, music and recording rooms, general learning areas, computer hub and staff facilities.

Differing volumes and spatial layouts are tailored to suit the complexities of study, teaching, social interaction and communication for the varying purposes housed within the building. The PAC promotes creativity and is set to launch music, arts, acting, dance, production courses and many others into new heights and establish a wonderful connection between the existing school and the broader region, to celebrate learning and performing arts in the 21st century.
