PROJECT DETAILS

CBM was commissioned to undertake the design and project management of a large scale refurbishment to Malvern Central shopping complex in Melbourne.

It involved the detailed design of the refit works whilst balancing the priorities of the client, interior designer and existing tenants, as well as consideration to the capital budget.

During construction, CBM was faced with the challenge keeping the commercial tenancies within the building operable, whilst construction was undertaken.

The renovation coincided with a new anchor tenancy in the centre, which has combined to breathe new life into the complex.
