CBM managed the planning and environmental approvals process for this proposed 8,000t per annum salmon marine farm. Given the size and complexity of the project it required a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement to be developed to support the permit applications. Potential impacts to a range of values across the physical and human environment were considered which involved the undertaking of a range of assessments and reports.

 

CBM also managed the land-based infrastructure scoping which included the shore base facility concept design, and a fresh water supply options analysis.

 

The project has received all approvals and now forms part of Petuna’s future growth strategy to meet increasing domestic demand for salmon.
