This Audacious ‘super centre’ is CBM’s furthest project from home, located in Manchester, England. The brief called for innovative renovation work to the client’s existing building as well as a newly designed 2000 seat auditorium spanning multi-levels. The new development will also contain Kids World play spaces, a health and fitness centre, extensive entrance foyer including café dining and three levels of flexible tenancies for commercial lease.

 

A third of the site contains multi-level car parking for the serviced facilities meeting local statutory required numbers of 600 parks. The featured colour pattern forms a unique aesthetic which is symbolic of the bright and cheerful activities the centre will facilitate. The concept takes advantage of transforming a once dead end public road into a lively living civic square and landscaped park for the city’s use. The setback upper levels allow for a fabulous outdoor terrace to the level three tenancies overlooking the new park and greater surrounding Manchester.
