This major project involves the construction of a salmon hatchery recirculating aquaculture facility, which is essentially a system of large tanks and water treatment infrastructure to grow fish in a controlled environment.

 

CBM was initially involved managing the environmental and planning approvals, which required the development of a detailed environmental impact statement for assessment and approval by the EPA.

 

CBM then progressed to detailed design of the facility, which required ongoing coordination with the overseas based equipment suppliers to ensure that all aspects of the facility were designed to be constructed and work together seamlessly. CBM is also managing the site construction, by coordinating the many trades, including overseas specialists.
